Super boy band Bangtan Boys, also known as BTS, have failed to clear another milestone in the K-pop history by losing out at the annual Grammy Awards on Sunday. The ceremony was held virtually.
The boys had been nominated for best pop/duo performance with their all-English hit “Dynamite,” the first-ever Grammy nomination for a K-pop act.
But in the end the award went to Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande for their collaboration “Rain on Me.”
But at least BTS won three awards at this year’s Kids’ Choice Awards on March 13.
They won Favorite Music Group, Favorite Song, and Favorite Global Music Star awards.
The Kids’ Choice Awards are hosted by U.S. entertainment channel Nickelodeon and honor music, broadcasting and movie stars based on viewer votes.
