Korean-American actor Sung Kang will appear in the Star Wars TV series by Disney affiliate Lucas Films. The film company said Monday that “Obi-Wan Kenobi” will start shooting next month.
Ewan McGregor, who played Obi-Wan Kenobi in the first Star Wars prequel, and Hayden Christensen, who played Darth Vader, will also star in the show for Disney Plus.
Kang was born in the U.S. in 1972 and graduated from U.C. Riverside. He has appeared in “Pearl Harbor,” “Live Free or Die Hard” and “The Fast and the Furious.”
