Monday Oct. 18 is School Bus Driver Appreciation Day, and the Saskatchewan Rivers School Division is paying tribute.
Education director Robert Bratvold said bus drifvers are an integral part of the work Sask. Rivers does to serves students and families. “They go beyond just providing transportation,” he said. “They greet students daily, provide a safe and caring environment and provide a dependable service to families.”
Minister of Education Dustin Duncan officially proclaimed the day on Aug, 25. Sask. Rivers also reminds people that every day can be School Bus Driver Appreciation Day.
“Thank your bus driver today, but remember to appreciate them all year long,” Bratvold said.
